Blerim Lleshi

Blerim Lleshi owns a store in Peja from which he makes and sells his quilts.  The income generated from this enterprise support five family members.  Blerim received his first loan from KEP back in 2000 for 700 Euros through a Group Loan, which he used to increase his capacity for production and sales.

Blerim is now on his seventh loan cycle and says he is grateful for the opportunity he’s been afforded by KEP.  Blerim says KEP enabled him to have access to credit which in turn increased his income generation so that he could provide for his family.

“When I returned back to Kosovo after the war I started from zero, and due to my work and the assistance and loan provided by KEP, I now own a business for production, a store for selling products, and a cafeteria. I also increased the living standards of my family members, repaired my house.  The doors got opened for me to progress more.” – Blerim Lleshi
