This year KEP has rewarded two of the best Women Farmers for 2013 with an amount of EUR 3,000 each – total EUR 6,000 for both farmers. Rewarded has been both the best producer and processor of agriculture products on country level. In this important event organized in Prishtina, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and USAID, participated have aroun 200 women farmers from the country and also other respective and important guests from different fields on local and international level. During this conference again it has been repeated that the role of the women in the whole community and development of the country is very important and crucial to improvements and further developments for us. Also, the business ladies are a key source in the greater meaning of modernizing Kosovo in general.
During his speech held, the CFO of KEP Trust Mr. Alket Gradeci mentioned: ‘In his continous commitment that KEP made in the Agriculture sector nation wide, until now (since 1999) KEP has invested aroung EUR 50 million (in forms of loans and various donations) in the developing of this sector and it is one of the biggest contributors of the national farmers and their businesess’.
Throughout this donation given to the two best Women Farmers of 2013, KEP again proved his high commitment and willingness to finance and assist farmers and agriculture business in their further development whereby KEP has been, is and will be always here to help and finance them in their pland and ambitions to improve these countries economy and increase its potentials more and more.
